SEYI TINUBU
A philanthropist, serial entrepreneur, young business leader and member of the Nigerian Bar, Seyi Tinubu is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Loatsad Promomedia Ltd – a company which he established in 2014 and has grown to become one of West Africa’s largest digital and outdoor advertising agencies.
Born 36 years ago, Seyi Tinubu spent his early years in Lagos, Nigeria before relocating to the United States and later, the United Kingdom to continue his early education. Often referred to as a disruptor and advocate for young persons in business, Seyi Tinubu had his first degree in Law from the University of Buckingham, United Kingdom, in 2011, and became a member of Nigeria Bar Association in 2013. He then proceeded to get an LLM and Masters in Corporate and Commercial Law from the same university in 2015.
In 2013, Seyi Tinubu and his co-founder decided to set up Loatsad as an advertising agency to bridge the gap in the outdoor advertising space in Nigeria through the use of digital billboards which were not readily available in the local market at that time. Over the years, Loatsad bid successfully and won prime locations across Nigeria and then ventured into the mobile digital advertising space successfully clinching advertising partnerships and becoming the sole ownership of the commercial rights for Shazam, RocketFuel, Airpush amongst others in the West African sub-region. Under his leadership and in 2016 Loatsad went into an international merger with Middle East based Promomedia thus changing their name to Loatsad Promomedia and allowing them access to a wider rage of innovation, technical support and partners across the Globe in their quest to becoming the leading OOH.
Seyi Tinubu also sits on the board of several companies across broadcast media, entertainment, energy, information technology, HR, and agribusiness. He is also a recipient of several awards including the Most Influential Persons of African Descent (Under-40) Award (2018); Annual BusinessDay Awards for top 100 fastest growing SMEs in Nigeria (2019); Leadership Excellence Award “Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2017”, amongst others.
An avid Polo Player and patron of the STL Polo Team with many championship cups to their name, Seyi Tinubu is also passionate about giving back to the society setting up the Noella Foundation with Layal Tinubu with a focus on Entrepreneurship, Eradicating Hunger, Education and Maternal & Child Health. Recently, during the Covid-19 pandemic, Seyi Tinubu through the Noella Foundation, coordinated the creation of a food bank with FoodClique and other partners provide over 957,000 meals to some of the worst hit by the pandemic. This partnership continues to this day.
Idris Olorunnimbe
Idris Olorunnimbe is the Group Chief Executive of The Temple Management Company and a member of the company’s board of directors. He founded Temple in 2016, bringing more than 15 years of industry leadership, entertainment expertise and executive management experience to his role as Chief Executive.
In its 6 years since inception, Temple has quickly established itself as an innovative and visionary leader in African sports and entertainment. In his capacity as head of corporate direction and strategy at Temple, Idris has facilitated the creation of a record label, film and TV production company, digital and gaming arm, live entertainment and a sports division. This is in addition to establishing a presence in 4 African nations; Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Kenya and South Africa. Under Idris’ stewardship, Temple has also formed strategic alliances with Roc Nation in the USA, First Access Entertainment in the UK and Touch HD Media in South Africa. The company has produced movies like ‘Introducing the Kujus’ and ‘My Village People’ which are part of the Top 100 movies in the Nigerian Box Office.
Temple has recently solidified its position as an industry leader by launching Ogidi Studios, West Africa’s foremost creative production complex. Ogidi has already yielded several movies, TV shows, documentaries and award-winning music.
Idris is a member of the board of the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) and is currently the Chairman of the Governance Committee. In 2018, he was awarded by the League of African Development Students (LEADS) as a pioneer in the entertainment industry.
A consummate strategist and philosopher, Idris has a Law Degree from the prestigious University of Lagos, Nigeria where he sits on the University’s Enterprise Board. As an entrepreneur, he has helped build an unusually wide variety of businesses, including a Pre-School, an Automobile Company, a Record Label, and two Nigerian fashion brands. He continues to serve in an advisory capacity in those companies even as he admits that Temple represents a culmination of his life’s work.
Idris also has a passion for public service and worked as Personal Assistant and later Senior Special Assistant to Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, when he was Governor of Nigeria’s leading State, Lagos, from 2007-2015. Before then, he co-wrote a policy paper on driver reorientation in Lagos which led to the introduction of Drivers’ Institutes in the State.
In 2020, he was named by the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development as part of a 13-man task force charged with reviving the socio-economic value of the National Stadium, Lagos. He has also served as a member of the ministerial focal group to establish the National Youth Investment Fund.
In 2021, Idris cofounded the Lagos Independence Festival of Excellence (LIFE) in partnership with The Balmoral Group to commemorate Nigeria’s Independence Day celebration. He was appointed as the Project Lead for the 2022 UNILAG NUGA Games by the University of Lagos based in recognition of his track record for leading and executing multi-faceted projects, his passion for sports and for being an illustrious alumnus of the university.
In January 2022, He was named by the Lagos Magazine as one of the 100 most influential personalities whose businesses have widespread influence on Lagos and Nigeria at large.
Idris mentors several young creatives, and frequently engages in public speaking in that capacity. An avid art collector, he has long standing relationships with creative talents and entertainers alike and is one of the industry’s top investors. He has supported several concerts, shows and sports tournaments in Nigeria.
He is married to Abisoye, a fashion and beauty entrepreneur, and their marriage is blessed with three daughters. He is a proud Lagosian and has lived in the city all his life.
Chief Olaotan Olamuyiwa
Chief Olaotan Olayeni Olamuyiwa is the the Managing Director of Folham Nigeria Limited. Folham is an Out of Home advertising agency with Outdoor Advertising billboard assets in various locations across Nigeria; the family owned agency has seen tremendous growth under his management as it’s swiftly growing to become one of the household names in the OOH Industry.
The company currently have Billboard Assets across Lagos, Oyo, Ondo, Ogun, Abuja, Kano, and Enugu with plans to expand to other locations within the country. The business has also grown in size by over 1000% over the last 6years he started to manage the organisation. Expanding from not just having Billboards for Rent to it’s clients, but also supply, installation and maintenance of LED screens via a partnership with a Chinese LED Manufacturer in 2020.
Chief Olaotan is also involved in the day to day management and board member of various companies, some are Zitra Investments Limited, Zitra Fund Managers Limited, Zitra Asset Management Company, Zitra Microfinance Bank (All within the Financial Services Industry), Limani Limited (An Agro Allied Export Business), Metro Live Animal Transport Limited (Animal Logistics Company), Iru Land Transport Company (LAMATA Bus Operator), Rocklane Associate and Projects Limited (Construction and Civic Engineering Firm), SecondCaesar International Services Limited (An IT Software and Solutions Company) amongst others.
In 2021, he was conferred the chieftaincy title Otun Bobashelu of Iru Land by His Royal Majesty (HRM) Oba Omogbolahan Abdulwasiu Lawal CON (Abisogun II) Oniru of Iru Land, Lagos where he serves selflessly to the growth and progress of the kingdom through the vast experience he has accumulated over the years.
Chief Olaotan is married to a beautiful and supportive wife Busola Olamuyiwa and their union blessed with 2 wonderful boys.
