Beatz to Banger — Week 2: Afropop

By submitting your beat, you grant Beatz to Bangerz permission to use the submission for promotional and publicity purposes, in accordance with applicable Nigerian copyright laws.

1. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Every submission must comply with the technical requirements communicated in the weekly brief.

Participants must:

1. Submit their work before the official deadline.
2. Submit only work created specifically for the current challenge unless the brief expressly permits otherwise.
3. Ensure that the submitted audio file is properly exported and playable.
4. Ensure that the file is not corrupted, incomplete or incorrectly uploaded.
5. Ensure that you include your tagline in the submitted work

Recommended File Naming Format:

WEEK01_PRODUCERTAGLINE_GENRE

Example:

WEEK01_MASTERKRAFT_AFROBEAT

6. 6. Participants must submit through the official submission channel provided by the Beatz to Banger team.

2. Every weekly challenge will have a clearly communicated submission deadline.
3. Participants are responsible for submitting before the deadline.
4. Late submissions may be rejected unless an exception has been officially approved by Competition Management.
5. Participants are strongly encouraged to submit early enough to allow time for technical problems, internet issues or upload failures.

COMMUNICATION WITH JUDGES

Participants must not attempt to influence judges privately regarding their competition scores.

Participants should not:

• Privately ask a judge to increase their score.
• Offer money or gifts in exchange for favourable judging.
• Attempt to pressure a judge.
• Ask a judge to reveal another contestant’s score.
• Attempt to obtain confidential judging information.

Any concerns about judging should be directed through the official Competition Management channel.

3. DISQUALIFICATION

A participant may be disqualified for serious or repeated violations including:

• Plagiarism.
• Submission of another person’s work as their own.
• Deliberate copyright infringement.
• Deliberate voting manipulation.
• Fraudulent paid voting activity.
• Tampering with the competition system.
• Impersonation.
• Failure to comply with major competition requirements.

4. VOTING SYSTEM

The final competition score will be calculated using the following structure:

Participants should understand that both judging performance and public support contribute to their overall ranking.

Free Online Voting

Members of the public will be able to vote for their preferred producer through the official voting platform.

Paid Voting

Members of the public may also support contestants through the official paid voting system.

All paid votes must be made through the official voting platform.
