Beatz to Banger Producers Challenge

The Beatz to Banger Producer’s Challenge is the competitive phase of the Beatz to Banger initiative, designed to identify and develop outstanding Nigerian music producers through a structured seven-week online challenge.

The competition begins with 15 qualified producers selected from more than 30 participants who completed the Beatz to Banger masterclass. Participants were trained in music production and subsequently tasked with creating beats, after which the judging panel selected the 15 producers who progress into the competition.

The competition is conducted entirely online, with producers receiving weekly briefs, creating and submitting their work digitally, and being assessed through professional judging, free public voting and paid voting.

The objective is to ensure that the eventual winner is determined primarily by production ability, creativity, adaptability and industry relevance, rather than fanbase size or financial capacity.
